Château Cantemerle is a French fifth growth château located in the Haut-Médoc region, with excellent aging potential. Château Cantemerle is a classified growth in the Haut-Médoc region and, like many other classified growths, has a long history. Grape cultivation and winemaking have been practiced here since 1147. Château Cantemerle's red wines are rich in flavor, vibrant in color, and intense on the palate, exhibiting high concentration. The tannins are well-ripened, and the acidity is balanced, indicating excellent aging potential. Château Cantemerle is highly regarded by wine lovers worldwide for its large production, consistent quality, and reasonable prices. Robert Parker even believes that Château Cantemerle should be promoted from a fifth growth to a third growth, and its outstanding vintages have become one of the most sought-after targets for collectors.
"The 2017 Chateau Cantemerle has a deep garnet-purple color, wafting out of the glass with intense oak, vanilla and earthy notes, plus hints of pencil lead and charcoal. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, grainy tannins and a refreshing finish."
