Deanston specifically contracts with local Scottish barley farmers to directly source small quantities of high-quality, pure barley from the origin. This arrangement frees farmers from using unnatural cultivation methods to increase yields, reduces carbon emissions from long-distance transportation, and truly demonstrates care for the terroir.
Handcrafted whisky, like haute couture, is produced in small quantities and is of excellent quality.
