A 27 year old single malt whiskey from the Bowmore Timeless range, matured in sherry and bourbon casks as well as first fill oloroso sherry casks. Aromas of stewed plums, sultanas, raisins, toffee and liquorice arrive on the nose, complemented by notes of Montecristo cigar, roasted coffee beans, chestnut honey, beeswax and dark chocolate.

Fruity ripe plum and prune jam. Flavors of Corinthian raisins and sultanas with a strong Oloroso influence. Toffee and maple syrup, licorice, roasted orange peel and smoked seaweed.

Taste

Sweet chestnut honey and rich beeswax, fresh leather and Montecristo cigar tobacco, roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate with a hint of oak tannins.

Finish

The finish is long with notes of burnt wood, dried fruits and a hint of frankincense.
