After searching through hundreds of rare oak casks, Sandy Hyslop hand-selected oak cognac casks. Through continuous experimentation and innovation over a long period, and repeatedly seeking the perfect timing to ensure the spirit reached its peak maturation, it was then aged in rare, first-fill premium cognac casks, which are uncommon in the industry. The team also skillfully utilized the Longmorn distillery, highly praised by the world's top distillers and whisky connoisseurs as "Scotland's best-preserved, undiscovered distillery," and incorporated rare, high-aged liquid from Royal Salute's classic core distillery, the oldest continuously operating distillery in the Highlands, Strathisla. This created a whisky with a rich mouthfeel, robust body, and distinct malty notes. The blending of high-aged spirits further achieved a perfect creation of cognac casks and the "water of life" whisky.
