Breaking the impression that Islay only has peat, creating a peat-free, floral and fruity aroma of barley, brown sugar and toffee, with an exceptionally fresh finish, with refreshing lemon and sea salt flavors.
"Once again, land and dram united."
This single malt whisky is distilled from barley grown by eight farmers on the island. Beginning in 2009, we planted two types of barley on the island, Optic and Oxbridge. Barley is the source of this Islay-made wine.
"The sea breeze floats in the air with delicate floral aromas...sprouted barley with notes of brown sugar and toffee. The finish of this wine is exceptionally fresh, with hints of refreshing lemon and sea salt swept across the western Pacific coastline. .” - Chief Winemaker, Adam Hannett

taste notes
flavor
The character of the people of Islay, like the barley here, is shaped by the land we hold dear and call home. As winemakers, we communicate our identity, integrity and pride with this exceptional line of Islay barley. The release of this wine means a lot to us. Even through the years of risk and obstacles, barley farmers continue to put in the effort and passion, and we proudly receive and distill their barley. We can feel the Islay DNA in this wine.
color
Like the soft winter sun shimmering on the golden sand.
aroma
The natural floral aromas are tinged with the sea breeze and the delicate floral aromas float in the air, while the refreshing and sweet apples, ripe gooseberries and peaches seem to be accompanied by the burst of young and clear Brady flavors. Sprouted barley imparts flavours of brown sugar and toffee, while toasted oak has a calm, earthy aroma that accentuates the aromas of malt and liquor. We also seem to feel that the dense vanilla custard is floating and sinking in this rich liquor.
Taste tasting
His mouthfeel and consistency are pleasing. Trickle distillation is a slow and simple technique, but fundamental to maintaining quality. His texture is majestic and rich. He is young, clear, fresh, and has a radiant charm. Thanks to the skill of the malt maker, the craftsmanship of the cooperator and the experience and patience of the brewer. Thinking about these efforts and professionalism, original intention and legacy, you will definitely get a rare sensory feast.
aftertaste
Its aftertaste comes from our distillery, our land, our terroir, and it leads you to the island where it takes root. The finish of this wine is exceptionally fresh, with hints of refreshing lemon and sea salt swept across the western Pacific coastline. "Earth and Wine Reunited"
