"The World's Most Famous New Zealand Liquor – Cloudy Bay" This October, Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2022 comes out in a brand new package and is definitely a month to celebrate. After a growing period with an excellent environment, there is a harvest period full of challenges. The year 2022 just reflects that "the potential can be stimulated in the face of challenges". As well as the new wine, this vintage will also be the first to be bottled in Cloudy Bay's new design. Known for its simplicity, the label has been redesigned to feature the classic Richmond Ranges silhouette in polygonal cutouts on the canvas-like label paper, while the mountain motif is embossed on the glass bottle for a unique tactile experience .

Established in 1985, Cloudy Bay was one of the first five winemakers to set foot in Marlborough. Sauvignon Blanc is the iconic wine behind the story of Cloudy Bay, which defined wine in New Zealand and established the Marlborough wine region around the world.

It is its unique aroma, ripe fruit flavors and fine structure that make Cloudy Bay synonymous with premium Sauvignon Blanc all over the world. This is a fresh, aromatic and vibrant wine.

Tasting notes

The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is intense and vibrant on the nose, with notes of juicy citrus and lime, with subtle hints of white nectarine and passion fruit.

Mouthwatering on the palate, ripe and vibrant passion fruit and citrus open the palate. These incorporate notes of tropical peach and guava, lightly balanced by a stony salt note.
