HARMONY SERIES RICH CACAO Cocoa Concerto Whiskey An extremely aromatic single malt whiskey characterized by rich dark chocolate flavours.

The Chocolate Discovery Journey is a whiskey created in collaboration with pastry chef Jordi Roca of the Michelin restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, which makes chocolate and whiskey complement each other and become even more outstanding. To create this new release of the first limited edition whiskey, Macallan Master Distiller Polly Logan embarked on a special journey to Girona, Spain. Immerse yourself in the world of chocolate at the local Casa Cacao, discover the chocolate-making process and discover unique flavor combinations.

Polly collaborates with Jordi Roca, the youngest of the three famous Roca brothers, owner of the famous chocolate boutique and restaurant Casa Cacao. This exploration process also included a visit to Damien Allsop, the chocolatier at Casa Cacao.

Polly Logan specially searched for the most chocolatey barrels in the Macallan Estate to blend this whiskey, which is said to go well with the rich chocolate. Rich Cacao uses sherry barrels from European and American oak barrels. The final product has aromas of chocolate, honey, oak, lime bark and ginger; the taste has hints of dark chocolate and honey, dates, vanilla and cinnamon. Polly Logan said that she discovered a special chocolate tone in Macallan's European sherry barrels, and when combined with American sherry barrels, the bitter chocolate will bring out a little sweetness.
