The Macallan Double Cask is made by blending together 18-year-old whiskeys from European and American oak casks (both flavored with sherry) to create a warm, sweet single malt whiskey that is part of The Macallan Double Cask The pinnacle of the series.
Aroma: Dried fruits, ginger and toffee. Rich orange with notes of clove and nutmeg.
Palate: Rich raisins and sultanas with aromas of caramel, vanilla and ginger, accented by wood spices and citrus.
Finish: Warm oak spice combined with ginger that turns into sweet orange.
