Arita ware and Kutani ware are the most familiar Japanese ceramics. Since 2001, Japan's Suntory Distillery has released a batch of limited edition Hibiki 21-year-old whiskey every year, all of which are contained in handmade Arita-yaki or Kutani-yaki ceramic bottles to pay tribute to Japanese ceramic culture.

▪️Arita ware is Japan’s most representative porcelain. The soft white color of the Arita flask is obtained by firing it at high temperatures, and the top is painted with gorgeous patterns in blue or red, just like a watercolor painting on pure white paper, full of transparency.
