Product introduction

Glenkinchie's classic 12-year-old bottling is packed with fruit, herbs and honey, while this one adds spices and dried fruits aged in sherry casks. It was matured first in refill American and European oak barrels, then finished in charred American oak barrels seasoned with Amontillado, and heavily charred on the ends of new oak, adding a rich, sweet flavor. Lowland malts become more potent.

Aroma: Dried apricots and raisins, some toasted almonds and warm woods.

Palate: Creamy malt, light fruitcake, green grapes and dry peppery spice.

Finish: Dry and spicy.
