The oldest vintage statement found in Diageo's 2023 special release comes from Lowland distillery Glenkinchie. Named "The Floral Treasure," the 27-year-old wine was aged in a blend of American and European oak and wine casks before being bottled at 58.3% alcohol.
Aroma: Elegant elderberry aromas on the nose, with notes of cookie dough, syrupy peaches and toasted almonds.
Palate: Aromas of orchard fruit and citrus with a hint of oak spice and a sweet vanilla element.
Finish: Elegant and long, with delicate floral notes.
