This 29-year-old North British, specially selected by Finn Thomson, was unusually matured entirely in a Sherry Butt. Single grain whisky at high age possesses excellent versatility. When it meets a sherry cask, the originally sweet grain base is imbued with rich oiliness and the intensity of dark dried fruits.

With nine generations of professional expertise, the Finn Thomson family selected this cask, which at 58.3% cask strength still demonstrates extreme balance. The mahogany color and complex spice characteristics brought by the sherry cask make this 29-year-old whisky stand out among many bourbon-cask grain whiskies on the market, becoming a highly distinctive fine spirit.

【Tasting Notes】

• Nose: Rich and intense. First, the signature sherry cask aromas of raisins, dark prunes, and candied orange peel emerge. This is followed by deep caramel, old leather, and a hint of dark chocolate fragrance.

• Palate: Extremely smooth on the palate, exhibiting astonishing richness. Full of black cherry, toffee, and abundant cinnamon and nutmeg spice. The sweetness of the sherry cask and the silky texture of old grain whisky intermingle, creating highly complex layers.

• Finish: The finish is long and warm. Leaving a rich dried fruit sweetness, slightly bitter coffee bean notes, and delicate oak tannins, with an unforgettable aftertaste.
