Product introduction

Dalwhinnie is one of Scotland's northernmost mainland distilleries. The wine is aged similarly to Glenkinchi: first in American and European oak barrels, then a second time in re-charred American oak barrels seasoned with oloroso, the ends of which are heavily charred Jiao. This adds spice and nuttiness to Dalwhinnie's classic tropical fruit.

Aroma: Guava, mango and black pepper.

Palate: Fresh tropical fruit drizzled with honey, a hint of toasted coconut and some nutmeg.

Finish: Slightly nutty with warm spice notes.
