BIN 28 is a classic example of Shiraz from Australia’s warm wine regions – ripe fruit and a rich, robust palate. Matured for 12 months in seasoned American oak hogsheads.

The rich aroma of black olive tapenade is the first to hit the nose, followed by rising notes of vanilla and rocky road chocolate marshmallows. The body is rich and solid.

Raspberry jelly aromas with rich chocolate cake and mocha coffee notes.Balanced acidity, firm tannins, and a finish with tobacco and graphite notes.

It takes its name from the Kalimna vineyard purchased by Penfolds in Barossa Valley in 1945. It is, in fact, a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend.
