Wine Overview
According to legend, humans implored the Earth goddess Maddi for protection against Gaueko, the god of darkness.
Maddi blessed them with the birth of her two daughters, Ilargi (the Moon) and Eguzki (the Sun). Feeling unsafe, Maddi protected homes with the Eguzkilore, the sun flower.
Tasting Notes
Color: Dark cherry with purple edges.
Aroma: Intense wild blackberry and red berry fruits (strawberry and blackberry) at the forefront, with subtle notes of licorice typical of Tempranillo grapes, and creamy (yogurt) aromas from malolactic fermentation.
Taste: Easy to drink, a young, aromatic wine with good body and structure.
