Brady series BRUICHLADDICH
Breaking the impression that Islay only has peat, it creates a peat-free barley flavor rich in floral and fruity aromas, as well as brown sugar and toffee flavors. The aftertaste is particularly fresh, with refreshing lemon and sea salt flavors.
"Once again, land and dram united."

This single malt whiskey is distilled from barley grown by eight farmers on the island. Since 2009, we have sown two types of barley on the island, Optic and Oxbridge. Barley gives rise to this Islay-made spirit.

"The sea breeze floats in the air with delicate floral aromas...the malted barley brings notes of brown sugar and toffee. The finish of this wine is particularly fresh, with refreshing lemon flavors and the sea salt that sweeps up from the western Pacific coastline ” - Chief Winemaker, Adam Hannett

Taste Notes

Flavor
The character of Islay people, like the barley here, is shaped by the land we cherish and call home. As brewers, we use this exceptional range of Islay barley to convey our identity, integrity and pride. Releasing this wine means a lot to us. Even after years of risks and obstacles, barley farmers continue to put in their hard work and enthusiasm, and we proudly receive and distill their barley. We can feel that this wine has the DNA of Islay.

color
Like the soft winter sun shining on the golden beach.

aroma
Natural floral aromas hit the nose, and the sea breeze floats in the air with delicate floral aromas. When the young and clear Brady flavor bursts out, refreshing and sweet apples, ripe gooseberries and peaches seem to appear together. Malted barley brings notes of brown sugar and toffee, while toasted oak has a calm, earthy aroma that brings out the aroma of malt and liquor. We seem to be able to feel the dense vanilla custard floating in this rich wine.

Taste tasting
Its texture and consistency are delightful. Trickle distillation is a slow and simple technique, but it is the basis for maintaining quality. His texture is majestic and rich. He is young, clear, fresh and full of charm. Thanks to the skill of the maltster, the craftsmanship of the cooper and the experience and patience of the brewer. Thinking about the hard work, professionalism, original intention and legacy that go into the wine, you will definitely get a rare feast for the senses.

Aftertaste
Its finish comes from our distilleries, our land, our terroir, and it leads you to the island where it has roots. The finish of this wine is exceptionally fresh, with refreshing lemon notes and sea salt from the western Pacific coastline. "The land and the wine are reunited"
