This extremely rare small batch 19-year-old Ardbeg greets the senses with a faint aroma of olive oil. A wonderful scent of freshly cut grass, ginger and soot swishes on the nose. Fresh mint and toasted bread merge with the aromas of creosote, dark chocolate and a distant campfire, blending into the classic Ardbeg flavor. The long finish carries notes of strong coffee and licorice, slowly fading away.

Nose: A very curious olive oil aroma immediately hits, accompanied by tar, soot, chocolate ginger, and even some freshly cut grass. Water opens up the bouquet, revealing some more classic Ardbeg notes, among which fennel, mint, eucalyptus, and tarry rope stand out.
Palate: The palate is slightly oily, followed by an intense sweetness of mint, as well as some toasted bread, creosote, coal tar soap, and even a hint of smoked pineapple. The deep, rich flavor continues with dark chocolate, peppermint cream, campfire embers, and camphor.
Finish: The finish is reminiscent of coffee grounds and licorice.
