This "Woody & Mellow" is a dream item for Nikka fans. The regular Nikka Coffey Grain has already won numerous awards worldwide, and this distillery limited edition takes the individuality of the newmake to an even more extreme expression.

The spirit is slowly distilled using the now extremely valuable "Coffey still" imported from Scotland in 1963, fully preserving the oily texture of the raw materials, barley and corn. Under the theme of "Woody & Mellow," the blenders carefully selected newmake aged in oak casks with prominent woody aromas and elegant tannins. The high alcohol content of 55% perfectly locks in the rich caramel, vanilla, and toasted woody aromas, resulting in a mellow and smooth taste.

【Tasting Notes】

• Nose: Upon opening, there's an immediate rush of maple syrup, roasted vanilla bean, and rich toffee sweetness. This is followed by a very alluring "Woody" character: freshly cut oak, cedar, toasted almonds, and a hint of cinnamon spice.

• Palate: The palate is exceptionally smooth and oily. The 55% ABV delivers a warm impact, brimming with the sweetness of banana cake, popcorn, and honey. The mid-palate is balanced by elegant woody tannins and spice, with a very solid structure.

• Finish: The finish is long and mellow, leaving a lasting creamy sweetness, a subtle hint of roasted coffee beans, and an elegantly clean woody aftertaste.
