The Macallan Blue Sky was launched to pay tribute to the Macallan Distillery’s journey of more than 20,000 miles in pursuit of the best oak; the final selection of four different but well-received oak barrels to brew single malt whiskey is highly anticipated. Explore it and enjoy it.
American bourbon barrels are blended with selected European and American sherry barrels and Hogshead barrels to create a fresh flavor with oak flavors of citrus fruit and sweet vanilla. The blue sky depicted by Quest represents the beginning of the journey, which is as boundless as the sky, allowing you to explore as much as you want.
Aroma: Soft citrus fruits, round apple and lemon. Vanilla sweetness and a hint of oak.
Palate: Apple mixed with ginger and dried fruits. The nutmeg and cinnamon soften and fade.
Finish: Great length. The texture is soft, light and medium sweet.
